Kentucky Rant
#1 LSU vs. A very Bad Football Team (KY)
Okay I'm not scared me. This game has been circled on the calendar since 2007.
This is a revenge game against a bad opponent.
The last time these two teams played it took KY 3 overtimes to defeat #1 LSU and make the 2007 Championship filled with trips to the drugstore for more Prilosec.
Kentucky was good and ranked that year. This is different. They are bad. This is revenge.
Nevermind that it's 11:21 AM kickoff.... Mimosa, Screwdriver, Bloody Mary, Double shot of Coffee...whatever you need ..get it in you... This is WAR!!!

Fresh off a slaying by the Gators this team is now 2-2 and not looking too good. Welcome to Tiger Stadium we owe you guys big time. (yeah I know it was karma for the Bluegrass Miracle last time...but we still owe you big time!!!)

Welcome back JJ. Lee is still the starter and I see that justice did it's thing. Now JJ sit back and if we need you... we need you... if not...welcome to a redshirt year. Lee is having a SOLID season. Les... work your magic with your DAMN strong football team. The chief should have last week's strange defensive issues worked out and the Aussie Wing will have some more great punts (If he sees the field)... we may score on every drive!!!!!

Home SEC opener. 4-0 LSU. #1 Ranked LSU. Home for the second time this season...and it is October? Time to shine tigers. Some great football weather... a crappy early time... but make the most of it... LSU gets a 150 yard rushing performance from not 1 but 2 tailbacks... guess who??
and Tryanosaurus continues to somehow end up the ball... kidding of course... he's a ninja with special powers to get the ball!!!

Big game brewing: Though he doesn't offer a prediction on who will win Saturday's showdown between the No. 2 LSU Tigers and the No. 16 West Virginia Mountaineers, Charleston Daily Mail Sports Editor Jack Bogaczyk does have some other interesting numbers in his column this week. "Through two games, Mountaineer Field vendors have gone through 38,750 bottles of beer and 22 kegs with beer priced from $7-9," he writes, "producing a beer sales gross of $281,453." Bogaczyk goes on to note 12,000 fewer bottles of water have been sold through West Virginia's first two games. West Virginia's is one of very few college sports stadiums to allow beer sales.
When asked earlier this week if he'd like to see beer served in Tiger Stadium, coach Les Miles said he would "enjoy playing in front of a Tiger Stadium that occasionally had a beer."

Tigers face their 3rd spread offense and not the best of the 3….. thanks goes out to Oregon and Misstake for showing us how to stop it dead in its tracks.
Tigers opponents are averaging 11.6 yards in the 3rd quarter. DOMINATE D!!!

Led by a Cam Newton mini me named Relf and coached by the disciple of U of F .. Dan Mullen. The spread offense SEC West edition. They lost last week to a suspect Auburn Defense but still gained 530 yards of offense....but lost...lost...1-1 and 0-1 in the SEC. Lost 2 Offensive lineman too... and what's with the confused mascot... Cowbells and Dogs?

A two RB, Two QB attack led by Ware/Ford and Lee/Mettenberger.... not too shabby last week and well the week before too. Tigers have owned Shtate as of late too... let the trend continue..on this confusing thursday night of college football..

LSU goes for it 35 straight win over a nonconference opponent in the regular season. LSU fresh off it’s thrashing over the Ducks. Ducks > Demons. So enjoy a great day of tailgating…and yell loud and often…it’s going to be a less stressful game than last week and a serious thrashing of an inferior opponent… furthermore..LSU develops a nice passing attack in this one…..

Seriously? Just put #7 on the field by himself. But since we can’t do that by the rules… lots of Ford, Ware, Lee to Peterson, Randle, Beckham and you get to witness the first TD pass by Mettenberger late in the game.

Losers to Auburn in the National Championship game last year are back… to lose again on the big stage. They still have a lot of offensive tools but their defense is a bunch of tools. Their crowd may be loud and proud but like their team, just can’t compete with LSU..and wow…how many ugly uniforms can one team have????
