Why I love the BCS...

Without the BCS we’d be treated right now to the media talking about the winner of the Rose bowl being the NC – it would be Ohio State vs USC.

Without the BCS LSU would be playing Va Tech in the Sugar Bowl and we’d be non-excited about playing a team we beat by 7 touchdowns. A team worse than Miss. St. Or we’d see a rematch with OK.

I Love the BCS.

Without the BCS the 2003 Champion would be USC…..because the media would have focused in on the Rose Bowl again.

Without the BCS the championship last year would have been a match between USC and Ohio State in the Rose Bowl.

COULD IT BE????

http://www.bcsguru.com/ is predicting the following...

OHIO STATE vs. LSU
AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. (Dec. 1, 2007) -- The season of upsets brought up one fine ending ... and a fine mess. But the BCS Guru projects that Ohio State and LSU, two teams that occupied the top spot of the BCS standings for much of the season, will meet in New Orleans in the BCS national championship game.
Ohio State will be a comfortable No. 1 against LSU, which will edge out Virginia Tech (No. 3) and Georgia (No. 4) and Oklahoma (No. 5) for the spot. The Tigers' early-season rout of the Hokies, and the victory over a Tennessee team that blew out Georgia should put them over the top.
More to follow ...

BCS NC GAME???

Here me out...

1 and 2 are thru...

#3 is Ohio State and they're in
#4 is UGA - Didn't win their division or their conference
#5 is Kansas - yes they have only 1 loss, didn't win their conference or division and only beat one ranked team
#6 is Va. Tech - they won their conference. They have two losses. But how the HELL do the get ranked ahead of LSU??? LSU beat them by 41 points. That almost seven touchdowns

#7 - LSU - HOW DO WE NOT GET IN THERE???? 7-1 against ranked teams. Face a GDMF Heisman candidate in 5 games. Tebow, KY QB, McFadden, Ainge (was one early in the season), Glenn (va Tech) ..he was one early in the season.

BCS WILL EXPLODE KNOW MATTER WHAT THEY DECIDE

Call your congressman.....call your doctor

TAKE THAT FULMER! FEAR THE HAT! SEC CHAMPS!

WOW!! It's wasn't pretty...but it was pretty effective!!!

The Hat Stays!

Hester Runs for 120

Perilloux gets the MVP

...and the Defense comes thru with the winning score!!!

LSU 21

Tenn 14

Les Is Gone, Les Stays, Les confuses...

Cue The Clash song "Should I Stay or Should I go?"

The 12:50 Press Conference Les Miles text Below:

"There was misinformation on ESPN and I think it's imperative that I straighten things out. I'm the head coach at LSU. I will be the head coach at LSU. I have no interest in talking to anybody else. I got a Championship game to play and Im excited about the opportunity for my damn strong football team to play in it. That's really all i have to say. It was unfortunate that I had to address my team with this information this morning. But that being done, I think we'll be ready to play. There will be no questions for me. I represent me in this issue. Please ask me after. I'm busy. Thank you very much and have a great day"

It's Gameday by Jill (SEC Championship Edition)!!!!

2007 SEC Champions

Your pain is real, it’s deep and wide
The questions…what might have been
Was Flynn really hurt? Should 11 have played?
That nightmare of a 4th and 10

The Christmas season is here again
And it looks like Coach Miles is going home
There’s one last gift he owes the Tigers
He can wrap it Saturday, in the Georgia Dome

The rumor mill is at fever pitch
My sources say it’s absolutely, dead-on true
Spurrier, Tubby, Saban and Sexton
Are definitely the next coaching staff for LSU

There’s a game this week so let’s talk football
The surprising opponent is Tennessee
There’s a pretty big prize riding on this one
So let’s go win the SEC

What is it about the Georgia Dome
That allows Tiger quarterbacks a fabulous debut?
Both Mauck and Flynn have danced in that spotlight
And now the stage may be yours, Mr. Perrilloux

Hey! Somebody bring back the defense!
They’ve been hiding but we know those guys are still around
We believe in their blitz, their hits and their picks
Let’s see Ainge feel the pain and hit the ground

Who out there loves this crazy team? C’mon don’t lie, you know you do
They have the heart to fight to the end
And you have the heart to cheer them through

GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!

SEC CHAMPIONSHIP RANT.....

Alright set aside your speculation and inside information on the coaching situation for a couple of days.... it's time to concentrate on the matter at hand....

DEFEATING the Vols(and Jr. and LuLu) and Claiming another SEC Championship for LSU.....it's time for the SEC Championship Rant...

#7 LSU (SEC WEST) vs. #14 Tenn-uh-cee (SEC Least)

Fear Les Miles vs. Phat Phil Fulmer - 1 win by each...this game decides it.

Tenn

Okay...the usual suspects..Phil Fulmer, Ainge....massive O-line, great defense, annoying orange. The team that crushed your spirit on the Monday nite post Hurricane Rita (so we got a little revenge in Knoxvegas last year....a little more would be nice no won't it??). Donuts....keep giving Phil Donuts..... Cheaters!!!.... you know them....didn't Phil order the attack on Rohan in the 2001 game???

TIGERS

A bizarre and humiliating loss at home post turkey day to the now Nutt-less Ar-Kansas team... pick up the pieces Tigers... long shot for BCS glory remains (nevermind Lou Holtszh just gave Pitt the pep talk..certain doom for them)...... but more important goal remains - WIN THE SEC!!!

The Most Talented Team in the SEC for the third straight year needs to win the SEC.

DO IT!!! Last SEC game for Dorsey, Hester and Company. Flynn may be out (hurt his shoulder on the 15 yard Hail Mary at the end of regulation) ..so in comes #11. Okay Perilloux....time to put up or shut up. This is your stage... NOW TAKE IT!! Go for The Glory. You said you'd win the Heisman...well here's step one..impress me. Trindon returns and that's a good thing as does Ricky Jean-Francois...just in time the DL needs some help.

WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN?

Had I written this three days ago...wouldn't have been what you TigerFans have come to expect....you see I lost a little faith.... I lost a little hope....I didn't believe..... but then I realized something...Phil Fulmer is on the opposing sideline....I don't Fear Phil Fulmer. Tenn-uh-cee may have won their overtime game last week by going into a fourth period with Kentucky but that was a day later than the LSU-Arky Game....Tenn should be tired. It's going to be a battle of tired and worn out teams.... My Money's on the Team with Tommy Moffitt the best conditioning guy on the planet... GEAUX TIGERS!!! This isn't about the coaches it's about LSU.

Perilloux hands off to Hester, Scott, Williams, runs a little option, pitches to Holiday, throws to Byrd, Lafell, Doucet and not to Tenn-uh-cee. Dorsey (back spasms and all) leads the defense on a quest to recapture the swagger, the pride, the prize, the eye of the tiger returns. Ainge gets rattled, Tenn gets bit by the turnover bug and it's VICTORY FOR LSU!!!!

PREDICTION

LSU - 37

Tenn - 24

GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Geaux to hell Ole Miss bye the way!!!..hiring Houston...that's nutts!!!

Stop the insanity....

Okay...three days to the fourth SEC Championship Game that LSU has participated in and what do we have ...coaching mayhem..

1. Pelini to Nebraska?

2. Crowton to Arkansas?

3. The Hat to Meeechigan?

4. Saban to Return to LSU? (heck I'll have to sanitize the website a bit but I'd forgive him just to tick off the Bama faithful)

5. Spurrier to LSU? (The guy that hired him at U of F is the current LSU president and Spurrier has been in BR twice this fall ...other than the SC game)

6. Jack Del Rio? (An intriguing one...he'd leave the Jacksonville Jags to coach LSU?... but of course the NFL season goes until mid-January...that'd mess up recruiting)

7. Tommy Tuberville?? EGADS!!!!

8. ?????

9. LSUAL!!!!

10. YOU!?!?

Enough of this... can we concenrate on the matter at hand???? That would be the complete defeat of Tenn-uh-cee and capturing the SEC CROWN!!!

The Quest for the SEC Championship...

it's a one game season...

A date with the Volunteers Awaits...

The Quest for an SEC Championship.

This will be the 4th trip by the Tigers to the SEC Championship Game

The History

2001 - Defeated the Volunteers
2003 - Defeated UGA
2005 - Lost to UGA
2007 - ??

Okay...this is important... prior to 2001 the Tigers last SEC Crown was in 1988.

JUST WIN!!!

The Fulmer File...

oh come on...you kow you're laughing...and possibly disgusted...but you are laughing....
now don't you feel better......
we've got a game to play.....now get ready.....

The Mission: Defeat Tennessee

Okay one goal still awaits.... THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP
Minor goal of getting there achieved
Major goal of a National Championship BCS Game - out of reach.
Given the circumstances....I'll take it.
WIN THE SEC!!!! WIN THE SEC!!!
BEAT PHAT PHIL!!!
GEAUX TIGERS!!! ONE GAME!!! DO IT!

Saturday, November 24, 2007

DISASTER!!!

48-50 ..no shot at a NC now....

Still a show for the SEC Championship.....

Dear Nebraska,

Please hire Bo Pelini!!!

The defense scheme over the last 5 games has been very Tepperesque. Friggin horrible. 4th and 10 in overtime and he rushes 3 at C. Dick. Bo...sir...you are a moron. GO!! Please Go!!

Hire Will Muschamp back from Auburn. His defense only allowed Arkansas to score 6 points.

GDMF@#@#@#@#*@#*@(!(@*#(!*@#)!(@)#()!(@#)(!@)#!@#~!!!@!)!!!!!!

Woo pig sooie...Rant 2007

Alright Tiger Fans...this is it... Marble Game Numero 12 for the Tigers this year...

It's time to face Houston Nutt and the flamin' Razorpigs....

#1 LSU vs. Arkansuck

What's not to love about the battle of the boot? You've got tons of bacon cooking, morning cocktails, non..ahem-biased CBS broadcasters, a couple of Heisman contenders, alot of coaching rumors and some giant Cochon-de-Lait fire in the Atchafalaya Basin.....ummm...slow cooked basin pork......

Arkansas... (or R-Kansas as the Hat calls them)

Houston Nutt, C-Dick Run, C-Dick Throw a Bad Pass, McFadden with the bruised ribs, Jones the runner around the corner....etc...

It's Arkansas losers to Auburn, Kentucky, Alabama (Did you hear the Neeck Saayben lost to U-L-M???hahahahaa), and Tenn-uh-cee. 4 loses in the conference...ouch... I sure hope Pelini has watched those four games over and over again and figured it out... Stop McFadden, Stop Jones, and Let Casey Dick squirt one up the middle. Stop the run... stop arkansas.

LSU

Well it's senior day for the following Tigers - Ali Highsmith, Early Doucet, Matt Flynn, Craig Steltz, Jacob Hester, Jonathan Zenon, Chevis Jackson, Luke Sanders, Patrick Fisher, Shawn Jordan, Kirston Pittman, Jacob Ohair, Carnell Stewart, Glenn Dorsey, Will Arnold, Mit Cole, and Keith Zinger. The winingest (that's a word right?) class in LSU Tiger History!!!! Give them a big Tiger Stadium Salute. It's also audition Time for Les.... for his big LSU pay raise.

This one is for the marbles...win and it's on to bigger things....three game streak to the Championship....

DO YOU BELIEVE!!!!?!?!??! DO YOU BELIEVE!?!?!??!

Give me an L!!!

GIVE ME AN S!!!!

GIVE ME A U!!!!

L-S-U!!!!!

This is the Wear the Hat game.... Make sure you wear your undersized LSU HAT high on your head to show your support for the Tigers and FEAR LES MILES himself!!!

WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN?

Give me break...you don't think this group of Tigers realizes what's at stake???? Anything less than a win is unacceptable. BCS#1 must be defended. Tiger Stadium Streak must be kept alive!!! The Boot must be defended!!!

Flynn's last game in Tiger Stadium, Doucet's too, Dorsey as well...the list goes on (yeah scroll back up to see it)..... So we're a little banged up.... there's one football to go around and plenty of talent to carry the rock into the endzone....plenty of talent to stuff McFadden and Jones into the Death Valley Turf!!! COME ALIVE TIGERS!!! DESTINY!!! It's touchdowns for Doucet, Hester, Flynn, Dorsey may even score one!!! (that'll lock up the Heisman for him!!!)

BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!

Prediction

LSU - 38

R-Kansas Razorpigs - 17

GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!

oh yeah...and what in world is the pig sooie thing all about??????????...very disturbing to see the mating call of grown adults from the state of arkansas....

Lloyd Carr

IS AN A- -HOLE!!

Couldn't he have waited two weeks to resign?
