First things first... YES I AM STILL ALIVE... merely resting and training for the 2010 season.....

Second thing....uh..second... perspective... LSU is 3 seasons past a National Championship.... 8-5 (3-5 SEC) in 2008...9-4 (5-3 SEC) in 2009... improvement!

Third thing...the Hat is 51-15 as LSU Coach. That's not too shabby but nobody is showing the love... it's the 'what have you done for me lately' syndrome... and yes... TIME TO PUT UP or.... well find a new source of income Leslie.....

but I digress... I'm putting on the Purple and Gold Glasses now....

LSU Vs. UNC

I would be really scared if this was basketball...but come on... ACC football??? and there's a great chance that they'll be without several starters due to them trying to impersonate the cheating ways of Bama?? It don't matter Tigers vs. Tar Heals.... TIGERS HANDS DOWN!!! THIS IS SEC FOOTBALL!! THIS IS LSU!!! (LSU leads the series 5-1!!) That one loss was in 1949 and the refs were horrendous cheating Bama lovers....

Led by Butch Davis of Cheating Miami, losing Cleveland Browns and nervous breakdown fame... Get the man some Zantac...he's gonna need it saturday. We'll find out at gametime if he has 2 or 9 starters benched thanks to his ...uh.. "Nanny" writing papers for his 'scholar' athletes.. .anyhow... even if the do show up their offense will be led by the least mobile QB in all of college football....

JJ is back at QB ..and really his numbers aren't that bad ...9-4 as the starter...and will be the first 2 year starter for LSU since Jamarcus "I lika da Codeine" Russell. The offensive line will be much improved.... HOW COULD IT NOT BE?? ...thus...a running GAME!!! The best WR corps in nation hands down will lead the Tiger Offense...Tolliver...Randle...Shepard.... and yes Von Crowton is back...but he's due to break the slump....

Defense!! They're back!! no more third and chavis... domination returns!!

The field!! It's the Gawja dome...not the turf minefield of the Crapital One Bowl!!!

The Tiger Band!! The Golden Girls!! Make Mike the Tiger stand up and roar....

Prediction

Hurricane Earl is Heading for North Carolina. And bunch of Tiger fans are heading to Atlanta to deal with the evacuated Tar Heal Team..... JJ will look his usual first half rusty but gains form late in the 2nd quarter... and explosion of offense led by some spectacular Shepard run catch TDs and of course the defense led by Patrick Peterson dominates the quickly sputtering UNC offense... WELCOME BACK TO THE BANDWAGON TIGER FANS!!! It's LSU over UNC .... (would I predict it any other way???))
