4 days later...

..and I still hate Bama.

Okay....going into the season I'd figured LSU would lose 3-4 games due to the loss of seniors and experience on yet another NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM (GEAUX TIGERS!!)... but I never realized how much it would still hurt in those losses. Losing to Bama at home in OT was pretty bad.

On the bright side the Tigers never gave up...and fought...and fought... Jarrett Lee...ouch...but he's still our guy. 4th string from the NC team to starter in one year.... so let's thank the following:

1. Ryan Perilloux...the moron really affected this years team more than we thought.
2. Nick Saban...Why is that LSU has no senior QB this year??? Could it be that Little Nicky didn't recruit one or two his last year at LSU?? Thanks a bunch Nick.
3. Miles and Crowton... the development of the QBs is not very well along...perhaps they should have burned somebody's redshirt last year to get them ready for this year when it was apparant the Ryan P didn't have his head right....

Anyhow... Tigers are 6-3. With the chance of a big second tier bowl game left to play for.....

If you've been around long enough.... this still feels a heck of a lot better than the Archer/Hallman/Dinardo days........
