Bama Jokes....
A lady in Tuscaloosa calls 911. Hysterically, she says, "Someone just broke into my house, and I think he's going to rob me!" The police officer says, "We're really busy at the moment. Just get the guys jersey number and we'll get back to you."
Q: What is Nick Saban's biggest concern? A: Does the NCAA count bail money as a recruiting violation?
Q: What do you call a drug ring in Tuscaloosa?
A: A huddle
Q: Four Bammer players in a car, who's driving?
Q: Four Bammer players in a car, who's driving?
A: The police
Q: Why can't most of the Bammer players get into a huddle on the field? A: It is a parole violation to associate with known felons.
The Bammer team has adopted a new Honor System. Yes, your Honor, No, your Honor. The Tide had a 7-6 season last year. 7 Arrests, 6 convictions.
Q: How will the Tide spend the first week of Spring Training?

Samson Report..Spring Practice update...
Spring Practice update brought to you by Sam...
Miles got pissed about some of the players grades and cancelled Saturday’s intra-squad scrimmage and made the entire team run sprints instead. Perrilloux is still absent but is expected to return soon. Jarrett Lee has been impressive in his absence according to almost everyone who has seen him. Chad Jones has not been working with the baseball team so that he can be a starter next season for the football team. The same goes for Jared Mitchell who had a nice reception and touchdown for 60 yards in yesterday’s mini scrimmage. The corners we lost will be replaced seamlessly and they will be about 3 deep in the defensive backfield. Part of the depth will be true freshman Patrick Johnson has not even arrived yet but he’s expected to get a lot of playing time in the fall. He will be used much like Chad Jones was used last season. They are very similar in size and ability. Remember the name Ron Brooks. He redshirted last year but he’s going to compete for one of the corner spots. Linebacker seems to be our only weakness during the spring but that’s because 2 of the projected starters are out with minor injuries. They are missing valuable practice time so that is a problem. The offense will be strong. There are no weaknesses besides the behavior of the starting QB. It’s going to be a good season.
Recruiting wise, I thing it’s safe to say that if we continue to recruit the way we have been, we’ll have the #1 recruiting class in the nation next February. Or as Alabama might say, we’ll be the “Recruiting National Champions”.
