Bama Week Ramblings....

Bama Week Ramblings....

Tigers did well Saturday and have now scored 72 points in two games. Not bad. Russell Shepard and getting the ball to Tolliver and Lafell will be key. Defense is primed for great things Saturday. I like our new rushing attack with the new Fullback…he can actually block…that should help as well. …and Saban is primed for his annual totally brainfartgame.

How bout Southern Cal…. Awesome performance…. How are they just 3 spots behind us in the BCS ???

We will win out… otherwise we’ll be greeted to IOWA or TX or UF vs TCU … or some combination thereof as the NC game.

Saban’s weakness…offense and arrogance. He’ll blame his team on Sunday morning for not being in position to win. Then they lose to Miss St and Auburn.

Off to Penn St. or Florida St. or the Raiders he goes in December. Why not…since I’m in prediction mode….

Team says they’ve been waiting for this one since the loss last year. They have looked like it. The close we get the better we play. JJ was quoted as we are playing this one like it is our National Championship game. UF was big but this is oooo soo much bigger in reality. … we can get UF again…this is the shot to take Bama out of the NC hunt and win the West. In the grand scheme of goals…this is the bigger rung in the ladder

1. SEC West – Win the west – beat Bama, Ole Miss, Arky

2. SEC Championship Game – Beat UF

3. BCS National championship Game – Beat Tejas or TCU

Saban is 11-10 (or maybe 10-11?) after an open date. Who did they play last week? A typical sign of the way Saban over analyzes everything and makes his players tight after 2 weeks of pounding. How does Les do when he has time to prepare (i.e. Bowl Games)?

Heard clips of the press conferences this morning.

Saban: This is a big game because it is the next one on the schedule….. blah…blah….blah….

Les: This is a big game. This is why you play football. Two quality opponents fighting with all the excitement an emotion.

GEAUX TIGERS!!
