Okay let me ..uh...I must say I liked USL...I cannot and never will get used to the whole UL (ultra small font) L thing... brings me back to the fact I hate change....still don't like the "St. Louis" Rams, the Washington "Wizards", ULM Warhawks, .... HEY it's USL, LA RAMS, Washington Bullets and dammit...Northeast Louisiana Indians....

I'm tired of the whole...'we had to change the name to become a more prestigous school and get more grant money'... okay...I guess that grant money comes as a gift from Skip Bertman and his curious scrimmage scheduling.... UL-Laf...enjoy that $400K grant saturday night okay. perhaps they can use the grant to buy larger letters for LAFAYETTE on all their signs around campus......

and word to the NFL ..Brandon Stokely and Mais Jake Delhomme did not attend UL-L..They are U-S-L graduates...just like Mrs. LSUal.

MASCOT - okay... Ragin Cajuns... that 's original, interesting unique.. they were the bulldogs... not unique but traditional.. still had the mascot around for a while until some brilliant mind in Lafayette (current home of LSUal) got the idea for a new mascot... the disturbing scary cayenne pepper thing... it's very disturbing... it gives me the heebie geebies... please lose the mascot.... (we'll lose Ellis Hugh the inflatable tiger aberation too and toonces our weird logo thingy)

Well not much to report here.. USL/SLI/ULL hasn't scored against the Tigers since 1924 before there were lights in death valley or even a death valley.... LSU has scored 912 points in 20 games to the Cajuns. 19 points. More info...

Les 11-2 Miles ...season 2. Jimbo and Pellini are back. Alley B returns. Jamarcus (14-2 as a starter) back to improve on last year's season... Bowe,Davis, Early,..lots of weapons...lots of speed... Defense - Fastest Defense ever in the history of the planet...honest... just watch Glenn Dorsey on the D-line and you'll see... Golden Girls, Mike the Tiger, the march down the hill, Tiger Band, Tiger Stadium, 93,000 strong and stadium construction still going on....

THE TAILGATE

The Krewe of Tailgate returns to the Indians Mounds for yet another year of tailgating excellence. See ya early. oh yeah... Tigers and Cajuns.... this could be the best tailgate food and experience of all time.... ice those adult beverages and come hungry.....

The GAME

But AL...what about the game???? We all know what's going to happen. Tigers win. UL-L does have a chance of eclipsing their total 20 scoring in a single game but... that's not a given. ....just depends on how good LSU's third string is this time.....

Prediction

The new seat numbers and section numbers will create mass confusion for those who tailgate effectively and rely on memory and instinct to find their seats.... WHAT NO SECTION 12 Row BB anymore???????
