BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - LSU Police say a 15-year-old was booked with arson Monday in the fire that gutted a concession office in Louisiana State University's Tiger Stadium.
Campus Police Chief Ricky Adams says the youth and two other boys -- the youngest of them nine years old -- were booked with trespass. LSU police are looking for a fourth.
Adams says a passing driver called campus police shortly after the fire started, saying he saw smoke in the stadium and some juveniles acting suspiciously. Adams says the man had a very good description of the juveniles.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department says the fire did $300,000 in damages, gutting the concession offices and damaging equipment including three golf cart-type vehicles used at the stadium.
Adams says his officers worked with arson investigators from the fire department and federal Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents on the case.
