IT'S GAMEDAY BY JILL....
It was October 1997
When ESPN first came to town
The Gameday poem was born
And the #1 Gators went down
That was the beginning of the end for Gerry
Many wins have since gone by
We've seen the very best years of LSU Football
It's time for the Gameday poem to say goodbye
But first things first
We have a bowl game to play
I have a special loathing for the Aggies
They remind me of the bad old days
Things are very different now
For A&M, it's been a bad 10 or so years
Remember Dennis Francione?
Stop laughing now, and do wipe your tears
Who doesn't love an Aggie joke?
They just don't ever get old
What's the punchline to this one?
It starts with Purple and ends with Gold
GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!

10 and 2
but hey LSU is 10-2. Not too shabby. Losing to the #2 and the #8 BCS teams.
Damn why does the SEC WEST have to be the best conference in the country right now?
Spurrier had it easy in the 90's when the rest of the conference was crap.
Saban had it easy in the early 2000's when he could win the conference with 3 losses.
Now one loss and you're done.
congratulations Les Miles on another 10 win season...now please go find another offensive coordinator... I can't take much more of the Crowton experience.

It's Gameday by Jill....
There are so many reasons to be thankful
But s something we must not disregard
You won’t see last week’s score
On any Ole Miss fan’s Christmas card
A thanks and best wishes to PP7
We’ll cheer for you no matter where you may be
Our Tigers will always be Tigers
On this we can all agree
So, Bama choked with abandon
And Oregon won’t be denied
Our sites are set on the Sugar
When our offense is hitting its stride?
The advance scouting on Mallet
Says you hit him, and he cries like a girl
Methinks that Mr. Drake Nevis
Might be interested in giving it a whirl
A season of frustration and excitement
Of endless speculation and chatter
The Crazy Train is full speed ahead
Hop aboard. Take another ride with the Mad Hatter

How many National Titles
Can one repugnant fanbase claim?
Y’all just go ahead and call 25 or 30
The rest of us know you have no shame
Sooo…what’s with buying players in Alabama?
It must be in the genes
Auburn wants to cheat with the big guys
The whole state makes SMU look clean
Bama finally won the Crystal
Here’s a little reminder. We have two.
And they won’t be hoisting this year’s jewel
After a really bad day at LSU
No matter our opinions and criticisms
This is the game we wait for all year
With 92,000 of your closest friends on hand
No place on Earth has a better atmosphere
The race is still wide open
This is our contest to win
Let’s Geaux Tigers, Let ‘er Rip

You can’t get off the train
It moves with a speed and purpose
You simply can’t explain

The train keeps rolling on
The players seem to know it
But you wonder where you’ve gone
And then we’re at mid-season
Without a loss in sight
Are you awake or are you dreaming?
The train rolls on all night…
And now we have the matchup
Welcome to the Undefeated Show!
That train just keeps on rolling
Can you hear the whistle blow?
The Conductor just keeps smiling
As we go plowing down the track

Joe Aleva's Letter ...
Tiger Stadium is known as one of the most intimidating arenas for opposing teams in the sporting world, a reputation that has been well-earned because of the passion of our fans.
Tiger Stadium is at its best when it roars as one voice in support of the Tigers. But when some among the crowd are vocally disapproving of our own players or coaches, it is detrimental on many levels. It impacts the morale of the players, it reflects poorly on our reputation, it sends a poor message of sportsmanship to the young people in the crowd and it delivers a negative message to recruits in attendance.
As the Tigers play on national television against Tennessee on Saturday afternoon, I hope the Tiger Nation will be at its best. The crowd at Tiger Stadium is the best 12th man in all of college football, and in the highly-competitive Southeastern Conference, our Tigers need every ounce of support.
We are 4-0 and ranked as high as No. 10 in the nation and we are heading in to the most challenging portion of our schedule. Let’s keep the momentum going.
Geaux Tigers,
Joe Alleva

Random thoughts on Tenn-uh-cee...
Revenge for the Post Rita 2005 debacle
Revenge for Chavis
Tenn has 4-6 starters out
Their DBs are 5’10
They gave up 400 yards passing to UAB
They went to double OT to with UAB. UAB missed 5 field goals in the game
First road game of the season
JJ will have about 150 yards passing…will run for 2 scores
Peterson takes another to the house
Tenn is 2-2 and that is over UT Martin and UAB in Double OT
Seriously …our 2 out of 3 football team (Special Teams, Defense are the 2) is going to wax U of T.

In lieu of a rant I'll let Vandy do the talking....
Stacy the Vandy RB from yesterday - "LSU, they're a good team. We all know what they'e about. But they're beatable."
LSUAL - "VANDY ...WE KNOW THEY ARE STILL VANDY..even with their new coach of 0ne month and their attitude...THEY ARE STILL VANDY! DESTROY THEM!!!!"
Word out of LSU is that the team and the staff had some words after the UNC game that the performance was unacceptable... I expect... a massive amount of pain to be unleashed on Vandy...
GEAUX TIGERS!!!
What's gonna happen - (I was going to say LSU would play again to the level of it's opponent and eak out a narrow win... but this will be different.... PAIN is coming.... and Vandy is the recipient....

Beat the TAR outta the Heals RANT!!
First things first... YES I AM STILL ALIVE... merely resting and training for the 2010 season.....
Second thing....uh..second... perspective... LSU is 3 seasons past a National Championship.... 8-5 (3-5 SEC) in 2008...9-4 (5-3 SEC) in 2009... improvement!
Third thing...the Hat is 51-15 as LSU Coach. That's not too shabby but nobody is showing the love... it's the 'what have you done for me lately' syndrome... and yes... TIME TO PUT UP or.... well find a new source of income Leslie.....
but I digress... I'm putting on the Purple and Gold Glasses now....
LSU Vs. UNC
I would be really scared if this was basketball...but come on... ACC football??? and there's a great chance that they'll be without several starters due to them trying to impersonate the cheating ways of Bama?? It don't matter Tigers vs. Tar Heals.... TIGERS HANDS DOWN!!! THIS IS SEC FOOTBALL!! THIS IS LSU!!! (LSU leads the series 5-1!!) That one loss was in 1949 and the refs were horrendous cheating Bama lovers....
UNC
Led by Butch Davis of Cheating Miami, losing Cleveland Browns and nervous breakdown fame... Get the man some Zantac...he's gonna need it saturday. We'll find out at gametime if he has 2 or 9 starters benched thanks to his ...uh.. "Nanny" writing papers for his 'scholar' athletes.. .anyhow... even if the do show up their offense will be led by the least mobile QB in all of college football....
LSU
JJ is back at QB ..and really his numbers aren't that bad ...9-4 as the starter...and will be the first 2 year starter for LSU since Jamarcus "I lika da Codeine" Russell. The offensive line will be much improved.... HOW COULD IT NOT BE?? ...thus...a running GAME!!! The best WR corps in nation hands down will lead the Tiger Offense...Tolliver...Randle...Shepard.... and yes Von Crowton is back...but he's due to break the slump....
Defense!! They're back!! no more third and chavis... domination returns!!
The field!! It's the Gawja dome...not the turf minefield of the Crapital One Bowl!!!
The Tiger Band!! The Golden Girls!! Make Mike the Tiger stand up and roar....
Prediction
Hurricane Earl is Heading for North Carolina. And bunch of Tiger fans are heading to Atlanta to deal with the evacuated Tar Heal Team..... JJ will look his usual first half rusty but gains form late in the 2nd quarter... and explosion of offense led by some spectacular Shepard run catch TDs and of course the defense led by Patrick Peterson dominates the quickly sputtering UNC offense... WELCOME BACK TO THE BANDWAGON TIGER FANS!!! It's LSU over UNC .... (would I predict it any other way???))

This Week's Tiger Bait... La Tech....
Yes the Tiger are banged up and we'll get to see J. Lee ,Ridley and KW take care of a 3-6 Tech Team..... it could be the last night game in Tiger Stadium for 2009 and the weather will be spectacular... so get your Tailgate Game on.... grab some food, beverages and few friends and spend the day brainstorming on what you would do to fix the SEC Ref problem....then head into Death Valley and cheer the Tigers on to a beat down of Tech .... and I don't care what they say... they...TECH isn't even the 3rd based Engineering School in the state.... they are saved from having the bottom spot...by Tulane... which K-O'd it's engineering school it was so bad.......
What's gonna happen.....
D. Dooley's team will have for a quarter then the BEAT DOWN BEGINS!!!
Shepard for over 100 yards rushing, KW for 75, Ridley for 150 and J. Lee for 200 yards of passing and NO Pick SIXES!!!
LSU 57 La Tech 13
GEAUX TIGERS!!
oh and as an added Bonus... Little Nicky's bunch loses a close one to Miss St. Holding will be called all day on Nicky's crew as the SEC Refs are under the microscope......
CFN Prediction..
Why to watch: Both teams are coming off of crushing conference losses, with LSU losing a battle at Alabama as hard hitting and as rough as any SEC game this year, and with Louisiana Tech roaring back to give Boise State a hard time in the second half in a 45-35 home loss. The Bulldogs have to win out to be bowl eligible, and that’s not going to happen with a trip to Fresno State up next week before closing out with a near-certain win against San Jose State. LSU is beaten up and is way due to come up with a mediocre performance in a meaningless game. The Tigers can’t go to the BCS, Alabama and Florida will take up the SEC’s two spots, and the rest of the league is just bad enough that they can go through the motions and end up with a New Year’s Day bowl. The real work comes next week at Ole Miss and closing out against Arkansas, and if LSU suffers an upset, nothing will be bruised but a few egos.
Why Louisiana Tech might win: Does LSU really have the SEC’s worst offense? Yes, and it’s not going to get a lot better with star RB Charles Scott out for the year with a broken clavicle and with QB Jordan Jefferson hobbling with an ankle injury. The team’s focus is going to be almost completely on Ole Miss, and the last thing it can afford is to not have Jefferson over the final two games. Does that mean more Jarrett Lee under center? If so, Louisiana Tech, with its ability to hang on to the ball, has a good chance to make this interesting. The mediocre LSU attack won’t get any freebies; it’ll have to score on long drives.
Why LSU might win: LSU’s defense might not be getting into the backfield and it might not be hitting the quarterback, but it should be able to tee off on the Bulldog running game. Against WAC teams, having a few speedsters like Phillip Livas and Daniel Porter can make all the difference, but that’s not going to work this week against the ultra-athletic Tiger D. Louisiana Tech’s wins have come against Nicholls State, Hawaii, and New Mexico State, all at home. This has been a disappointing year for the Bulldogs, and they have yet to prove they can beat someone with a pulse.
Who to watch: So now what is the LSU running game going to do without Scott? He ran for 83 yards against Alabama averaging 6.4 yards per carry, and now it’s going to take a slew of players to try to get the ground game going. Stevan Ridley got two carries and came up with a nice score against Alabama, Russell Shepard went nowhere, but will keep getting the ball, and Trindon Holliday will likely be used in a variety of ways. Ridley will likely be the main man now, with good size, nice power, and nice moves considering he’s coming off a knee injury. This is the sophomore’s chance to shine, and he needs to make the most of the opportunity.
What will happen: LSU will be uninspired, will want to get several backups in early, and it’ll still win without too much of a problem after Tech comes up with a few early scores.
CFN Prediction: LSU 34 … Louisiana Tech 6 ... Line: LSU -24.5

Box Score Recap Complete Scoreboard
If this cleat mark could talk ... it'd confirm that Patrick Peterson's fourth-quarter interception should've counted for LSU.
Andy Staples/Special to SI.com
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- With 5:54 remaining in Alabama's 24-15 win against LSU, Tigers cornerback Patrick Peterson appeared to intercept Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy between LSU's 31 and 32-yard lines. At the time, LSU trailed Alabama by six points.
Officials initially ruled that Peterson caught the ball out of bounds, but the immediate reaction along the LSU sideline suggested another look was in order. Referee Thomas Ritter announced the play would be reviewed. While replay official Gerald Hodges reviewed video of the play, CBS showed several replays that appeared to show Peterson getting not one, but two feet down before falling out of bounds. After several minutes, Ritter announced that Hodges had upheld the call on the field.
"When I caught the ball, I tried to get two feet in. I believe I got two feet in," Peterson said. "Definitely, the foot mark was left on the field. Not even on the white. It was on the green."
After interviewing Peterson, I returned to the field, where I snapped a few photos of a small gash in the field between the 31- and 32-yard lines. A video replay confirmed that this was the same spot where Peterson caught McElroy's pass. There is no way to confirm that Peterson's foot made the mark; it could have been made at any point during the game. But judging by video replays, Peterson's left foot --which landed first -- would have made an identical mark on the disputed play.

CFN Prediction... BOOO HISSS...
LSU (7-1) at Alabama (8-0), 3:30 EST, Saturday, November 7, CBS
Why to watch: Alabama still has a nasty, scary road rivalry game at Auburn to deal with, along with a road trip to Mississippi State, and LSU has to go to Ole Miss and has an always tough (for LSU) game against Arkansas, but for all intents and purposes, this should decide the SEC West title and it will go a long way to further the national title discussion. Either Alabama will win and will keep careening to a clash with Florida for the SEC title, and the BCS Championship game, or LSU will pull off a huge road victory and will suddenly be in the hunt for the national title.
LSU blasted Tulane 42-0 last week getting huge production on the ground and an efficient day from the passing attack, but that was Tulane. One of Conference USA’s lowest bottom-feeders wasn’t going to have a chance against the Tigers’ second team, much less the top players, and that wasn’t necessarily a great indication of what LSU could really do. However, the 31-10 win over Auburn a few weeks earlier showed that things might be jelling and coming together at the right time, and this might be the perfect chance to catch a Bama team that’s been begging to be tagged.
With two weeks off, the Tide will be rested and ready coming off the scary 12-10 win over Tennessee thanks to a blocked field goal. The 20-6 win over South Carolina wasn’t impressive, the offense sputtered a bit in a 22-3 win over Ole Miss, and Kentucky was the better team for roughly 40 minutes in a 38-20 Tide win. Style points don’t matter, Alabama will play for the national title if its 13-0, but it’s time for the team to start playing more like a true national title contender. Florida flexed its muscles last week against Georgia, and now it’s Bama’s turn. If not, LSU will go from being an afterthought in the SEC title chase to being in the thick of the national title discussion.
Why LSU might win: The Alabama passing game went from excellent, to mediocre, to awful. QB Greg McElroy threw for over 200 yards in each of the first four games, with his high moment the 17-of-24, 291-yard, three touchdown day against Arkansas. Ever since then, the offense has had to rely only on the running game, which isn’t a bad thing, and the great defense, but McElroy has become a liability and the team has had to hide him. Sound familiar, LSU fans? It’s not like last year for the Tigers, when they had to do everything possible to keep their quarterbacks from throwing thanks to Jarrett Lee’s penchant for giving the ball to the other team, but Bama isn’t exactly letting McElroy take any chances. The LSU defense has been the real deal, even though the line isn’t playing anywhere close to the high standards the program usually sets. The Tide isn’t going to find its passing groove this week.
Why Alabama might win: The Alabama offensive line has a huge advantage over the LSU defensive front. LSU doesn’t get to the quarterback, ranking last in the SEC in sacks, is mediocre at making lays behind the line, and is average against the run. Overall, the LSU run defense hasn’t been awful, but when push has come to shove, teams like Florida, Mississippi State and Auburn were able to shove. Alabama should be able to control the game with the ground attack and with the great pass rush. The Tide defense leads the SEC in sacks and tackles for loss, while LSU is shockingly poor in pass protection allowing a whopping 23 sacks so far.
Who to watch: LSU can’t win this game, or even stay in it, unless QB Jordan Jefferson comes up with a whopper of a performance. The sophomore has been good so far, completing 64% of his passes with 11 touchdowns and just four interceptions, but he hasn’t been special. He hasn’t been bad, and he certainly hasn’t been the reason the offense has lacked a consistent pop (the offensive line is to blame), but he’s being asked to carry the offense when the ground game doesn’t work. The ground game isn’t going to work. Jefferson is going to have to challenge the Tide secondary and he can’t play it close to the vest and hope for the best. That didn’t work against Florida and it’s not going to work against Bama. The Tide can be beaten, but it’s going to have to take a few risks for LSU and Jefferson to make it happen.
What will happen: This will be a clash of two defensive heavyweights. Each team will challenge the other to come through with the passing game, and while Jefferson and the Tigers will throw better, Mark Ingram and the Tide will run more. The major advantage up front for the Tide will be the difference.
CFN Prediction: Alabama 23 … LSU 13 ... Line: Alabama -9

Bama Week Ramblings....

Bama Week Ramblings....
Tigers did well Saturday and have now scored 72 points in two games. Not bad. Russell Shepard and getting the ball to Tolliver and Lafell will be key. Defense is primed for great things Saturday. I like our new rushing attack with the new Fullback…he can actually block…that should help as well. …and Saban is primed for his annual totally brainfartgame.
How bout Southern Cal…. Awesome performance…. How are they just 3 spots behind us in the BCS ???
We will win out… otherwise we’ll be greeted to IOWA or TX or UF vs TCU … or some combination thereof as the NC game.
Saban’s weakness…offense and arrogance. He’ll blame his team on Sunday morning for not being in position to win. Then they lose to Miss St and Auburn.
Off to Penn St. or Florida St. or the Raiders he goes in December. Why not…since I’m in prediction mode….
Team says they’ve been waiting for this one since the loss last year. They have looked like it. The close we get the better we play. JJ was quoted as we are playing this one like it is our National Championship game. UF was big but this is oooo soo much bigger in reality. … we can get UF again…this is the shot to take Bama out of the NC hunt and win the West. In the grand scheme of goals…this is the bigger rung in the ladder
1. SEC West – Win the west – beat Bama, Ole Miss, Arky
2. SEC Championship Game – Beat UF
3. BCS National championship Game – Beat Tejas or TCU
Saban is 11-10 (or maybe 10-11?) after an open date. Who did they play last week? A typical sign of the way Saban over analyzes everything and makes his players tight after 2 weeks of pounding. How does Les do when he has time to prepare (i.e. Bowl Games)?
Heard clips of the press conferences this morning.
Saban: This is a big game because it is the next one on the schedule….. blah…blah….blah….
Les: This is a big game. This is why you play football. Two quality opponents fighting with all the excitement an emotion.

It's Gameday by Jill.....
/It's Halloween night on the bayou
Haunted by traditions that used to be
Shuffled around and rendered meaningless
By the brain trust at the SEC
Hey there little greenie
Why so serious?
We know why you're here
It's not at all mysterious
The big scary Tiger
Has a fat bank account
And after he eats you for dinner
He'll throw you a small amount
Let's hang 60 on the wave
It'll be our sweet kiss goodbye
Thanks for playing, we enjoyed the beating
And now...we've got bigger fish to fry

Tulane rant

Holy Toledo...Bob Toledo's coming to Town and he's bring with him the fearsome Green Wave. Tulane 2-5 sets foot in Death Valley for the last time. The series is facing a merciful end... and it's time for the TIGERS to hang 62-0 on these jokers once again.
Tulane
It is Halloween Night and LSU should be playing Ole Miss...but instead what we get are 11 Tulane students wearing costumes to make them look like an actual Division 1 football team.
They'll look the part early. That would be as in pregame early. Bob Toledo has recruited a few to the Big Easy but not enough to get the job done. What is a Green Wave anyway? The only thing I like about Tulane is that they play in the superdome where the sell beer..which you need if you are in the superdome to watch a Tulane "game"
TIGERS
The crowd will be light due to Halloween, but the air will be electric as the Tigers do their best to continue the offensive firepower that suddenly showed up against Auburn last week. Russell Shepard may have another breakthrough run or two or three.... JJ will continue to improve and will mark his best stats of his career and only play through 2 and half quarters prior to Lee coming and getting some much needed scrub work. and kudos to Les and Crowton for realizing that Russell Shepard is actually on scholarship at LSU!!!!
What will happen...
Seriously this is a bad Tulane team by Tulane standards. The LSU offense has discovered that abandoning the run and going with the passing game ain't a bad thing and the Tiger defense is starting to resemble ...well a DAMN STRONG TIGER DEFENSE.... UGLY early and often for the 12 Tulane fans that make the trip. And for traditions sake.....for the fourth time....

Geaux To Hell Ole Miss!!!
GEAUX TIGERS!!!
oh and bye the way... WHAT THE HELL WAS THE SEC THINKING??? Shouldn't they have pulled all the stops to get the LSU vs. Ole Miss matchup this week on Halloween night on the 50th Anniversary of that run??? Instead we get Tulane?? Enjoy the Scrimmage....

It's Gameday by Jill.....
Just can't muster the anger?
No love for that old familiar hate?
Oh well, we can always talk about the weather
Pat is psyched! He says will be just great!
Ding, dong, Tubby's long gone
But this new guy is also a tool
He thinks he can make us wear Purple jerseys
Dude. Grow up. Read the rule.
Would you like a few little reminders?
Some ghosts of transgressions past
Cigars, Chop Blocks, and Wold Class Whiners
Their poor fictional Grannies, so abused. So harassed
There's an old, tired football adage
It says you gotta score more points to win
"No major changes" from the last game
Doesn't sound like the right place to begin
Let's wave our pom poms and cheer our Tigers
Remember it's the students that take the field and play
They're not the ones being overpaid millions
Well...not yet, anyway

CFN PREDICTION
Auburn (5-2) at LSU (5-1), 7:30 EST, Saturday, October 24, ESPN2
Why to watch: LSU still controls its national title destiny … sort of. There might need to be losses from Iowa and Cincinnati, and … whatever. That’s 17 steps down the road, and for now, LSU just needs to take care of itself, improve on the lines, get more production from the passing game, and find a way to go on a run. And yes, if LSU wins out, it’ll play for the SEC Championship and will get a rematch against Florida, and then the chips would fall from there. However, there’s still a trip to Alabama to deal with and there’s still a road game at Ole Miss to play, and first, the Tigers have to beat the other Tigers, who are trying to get back their mojo after losing two straight. Losing to Arkansas was one thing, it was a road game and there were a few key turnovers, but losing 21-14 at home to Kentucky has all but soured the 5-0 start that had everyone so excited. The passing game has struggled and the defense has failed to come through clutch, but there’s still time to turn things around and win the West by winning out and getting a second Alabama loss. After this it’s three home games in the final four, and a win in Death Valley would show that Gene Chizik has Auburn back to being Auburn.
Why Auburn might win: 295 yards per game. That’s what LSU’s offense, the worst in the SEC, is averaging. The passing game is efficient, but not consistent, and the running game has been all but non-existent at times. This isn’t a team equipped at the moment for a firefight with all the top players failing to produce, and if Auburn can win the battle on the lines all game long, it has a chance. Florida challenged LSU’s manhood by running dive play after dive play on the way to 195 hard rushing yards, and while Auburn won’t be looking to power the ball Tebow-style, it has the ground game, and the O line, to rip off at least 200 yards on a defense that’s getting by more on reputation than production.
Why LSU might win: The Auburn passing game has gone bye-bye. So efficient and so dangerous at the beginning of the season, Chris Todd has completed just 25-of-52 passes for 213 yards with an interception over the last two games. By comparison, he only threw for fewer than 218 yards once in the first five games. LSU doesn’t generate a pass rush, but the secondary has done a very nice job against a slew of mediocre passing games. Auburn doesn’t have the wide receivers to throw anything scary at the Tiger corners, while the front seven should be able to force a few turnovers. LSU doesn’t give the ball away, while Auburn lost three fumbles against Arkansas two weeks ago. Auburn doesn’t turn the ball over on a regular basis, but even being -2 in a game like this could be disastrous; LSU will win the turnover margin.
Who to watch: Auburn RB Ben Tate suffers from being in the same conference, and the same state, as Alabama’s Mark Ingram, but he has been every bit as effective and even more consistent. The Tiger senior has rushed for 100 yards or more in five of the first seven games, and even in defeat he was able to carry the offense with 184 yards and two scores against Arkansas and 132 and a score against Kentucky. However, he has shouldered a massive workload, carrying the ball 150 times so far with 31 carries against Kentucky. Star freshman Onterio McCalebb will start to get more work.
What will happen: It’s the 12th Annual CFN lame line lock of the year … the Tigers will win. Neither offense will be consistent, but there will be a stretch in the second half when the two teams will break through the defensive struggle to trade some big punches. Auburn will start to play better and will be sharper than it was against Kentucky, but LSU QB Jordan Jefferson will answer the call to start doing more for the offense and will lead the way to two fourth quarter scoring drives to finally put the game away.
CFN Prediction: LSU 23 … Auburn 17 ... Line: LSU -8
Must See Rating: (Monty Python: Almost the Truth (The Lawyer’s Cut) 5 ... This Is It 1) … 4

I'm still angry.....
Ah yes... Auburn time of year again... the picture above still ticks me off 2006. No TD's scored by the Tigers that day and no flag on this play. That non call no doubt prevented the Tigers of a shot at BCS Glory in 2006. ...and added more fire to the hatred that has become the Auburn game. Remember... the lack of production of Jimbo's offense???? It was said that Les was holding back Jimbo from throwing the ball... sounds kind of like this year so far?????....UNLEASH THE SLEEPING TIGER!!! Throw the BALL!! Down the field!! Setup the run with the pass!!!
